Status Update from the Danube Refinery

The AV-3 reconstruction project at the Danube Refinery ("DUFI") is Hungary’s most significant industrial reconstruction project. Our engineers have been working on-site for several weeks now. On MOL DS Production side, the reconstruction is coordinated by Attila Jermendy, Head of Lifetime Extension Management.

What makes this project unique is that, since last October's fire incident, all our 5 departments have been actively involved in the recovery efforts:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical, Instrumentation and Control
• Technology, Authorisation and HSE
• Civil Engineering and Piping Design
• and LTA/LTE Department

So, who is on-site every weekday?

• Mechanical engineering activities are supported by Ákos Sümegi and Csaba Erős, Lead Mechanical Engineers.
• Electrical engineering support is provided by Zalán Árpád Márkus and Szilárd Nagy, Electrical Engineers.
• Instrumentation and Control Engineering activities are led by Szabolcs Horváth, Lead Instrumentation Engineer.
• Installation of rotating equipment is coordinated by Gábor Tóth, Site Manager.
• Overall project execution is managed by Péter Gál, Project Manager, through efficient day-to-day coordination.
